We hand tie each tinsel strand to an individual strand of your hair. Your tinsel will last as long as that hair strand is attached to your head. Every one has different shedding patterns and your tinsel can last from a day to months with proper care. They typically last 2-6 weeks but some clients keep their tinsel for 3 -6 months or longer!
You can wash your hair like you normally do. Your tinsel will not lose color. Avoid scrubbing around the knots. Gentle lather will give you the longest sparkle!
Use a "wet brush" or a wide tooth comb. Start at the bottom and use gentle strokes to detangle the hair gradually moving up toward the root. Avoid brushing directly on the knots. Gentle brushing and combing is key!
Our tinsel can be blow dried and heat styled up to 350 degrees. While our tinsel is head resistant avoid direct heat for extended periods of time. For example, do not curl the tinsel alone, always curl with natural hair.

The feathers we use are real rooster feathers. Ethically sourced and cruelty free. The feathers are hand died and will last longer than synthetic feathers. Our feathers are installed with a micro bead and grow with the hair it is attached to. Most clients have to remove their feather or get their feathers replaced before they fall out! With gentle care they can last months!
You can wash your hair like you normally do. Your feathers will not be damaged with normal washing. Over months you may see signs of wearing and you will know it is time to referesh!
